I just found out that my wife majorly fucked up her income tax withholdings this year... in the best possible way. Looks like we will be getting a very large, and very unexpected refund. My new years resolution was to spend less money on stupid shit (like eating out) so that I can save up for things that I really want (like a new project car) and this just gave me a huge head start. Looks like getting a project car this year might actually be a reality! I guess that means I need to start getting serious about narrowing down the lengthy list of project cars I want. I don't even know where to begin...

Little bit. Congrats on the windfall though. Might I suggest Datsun? Those 240z's are pretty slick looking when done right. I'd obviously say Nissan, but depending on my mood, I wouldn't curse anybody with 25 year old EFI, unless I really really hated them.

I actually am thinking a bit older than that. Something from the '50s or '60s most likely.

Ah, well, that's when I jump over the pond and start thinking American Muscle personally. Since I'm not particularly interested in auction values, I've always been partial to the late 60's 4-door Impalas. Muscle Car guys have told me I'm crazy for expressing this sentiment. I also really like the Vega...Jeez, when did I become a Chevy guy? Weird.
